Nate Gatter | Play-by-Play Broadcaster
Nate Gatter is a radio/TV play-by-play broadcaster for ESPN, SEC Network, and Westwood One.
Nate calls radio play-by-play for nationally syndicated events on Westwood One, including the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. His ESPN work has included TV play-by-play for FBS and FCS playoff college football, as well as college softball on SEC Network. He also serves as a regular host on KMOX Radio (1120 AM) in St. Louis, including filling in as the host of St. Louis Cardinals pre- and post-game shows on the 146-station Cardinals Radio Network.
Nate’s freelance TV play-by-play portfolio has included Missouri men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, gymnastics, and soccer, in addition to Western Kentucky football and men’s basketball, the NAIA Men’s Basketball Championship, and many others. Previously, he spent five years as the Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations for the Gateway Grizzlies.
Nate is a Dec. 2017 graduate of the University of Missouri and a second-year student at Washington University School of Law. In 2017, he was named Sportscasters Talent Agency of America's Jim Nantz Award winner as the nation's most outstanding collegiate sportscaster.
